It's so hard to sum up a week a lot happens..
Let's see..
5 investigators came to church! 5!!!! INCLUDING OUR MAJOR INVESTIGATOR!!! He hasn't come to church in like 20 years!! He walked in late and I literally was holding back tears! So cool! We are getting through to him! But it's frustrating because no one else has faith in him. His brother is in the branch presidency, and doesn't have a lot of faith in him. His face was priceless when he walked in! I love him! I have a weird relationship with him where I can joke with him and get him to open up. A lot of the time he's just laughing at my Spanish, but he really has started opening up to us. This is the closest he has ever been to baptism. He gave up drinking and smoking 4 years ago and he went and bought food storage. He has a testimony of all of it ,but the members sometimes are hypocrites and that bugs him. Plus Satan is working really hard on him because once he joins he is going to be amazing. He's so funny. Whenever he won't really commit to something, we'll say "will you read the Book of Mormon this week" and he said "I'll try if i have time" I was like "P..." and he just started laughing hysterically and was like fine. I think i was supposed to meet him. I think he has been waiting for sisters to get him to open up. He loves us lol.
As for the other "P". We had dinner with them last night and we watched the Restoration movie with Joseph Smith. Whenever "P" feels the spirit he says "ooohh myyy ooohh myyy." After the movie he told us he knew he was going to be baptized, he knew it was all true and he knew that he and his wife were going to be sealed in the temple, but he's not ready yet. It's hard and he doesn't like to be told what to do. SO FRUSTRATING. He was bearing his testimony and almost crying and said he couldn't deny how he felt.
We need to baptize both the stubborn "P"'s. Everyone has given up on them it's so frustrating.
Oh Thanksgiving plans. So were having a branch Thanksgiving and one of the members (once again everything is a fiesta) and some of our investigators are coming too. lol We asked Hmo R what time it was starting and ending because we have to plan our the rest of the day and get work done even on Thanksgiving and he wouldn't give us a time. He just kept saying all day lol. They don't understand why we can't hang out with them all day everyday. They get offended if we leave after an hour. That should be fun. Well as fun as fun gets when you are on a mission and in the middle of nowhere.
I know the church is true. Jesus lives. By the way I've read the Book of Mormon cover-to-cover now. lol It's true too!! Umm be good!
